Styling for a portrait session can be one of the most stressful parts of the process. I’ve answered many frantic calls from stressed out clients not knowing where to start. (I’ve even had people tell me in the past that they never had portraits taken solely because of wardrobe!) That’s when I knew I had to begin curating a Client Closet.
The portrait experience with East Valley Portraits should not include stressing about what to wear!
The Client Closet is available for all East Valley Portraits clients. Items include newborn fabric, newborn outfits, sitter and big baby outfits, older kids dresses, and womens’ gowns that can be used for both glamour or maternity sessions. I also have a large collection of draping fabric which is a current favorite look for whimsical portraiture.
I am always on the hunt for new items to add to the Client Closet and newer items may not be pictured on the gallery just yet. If you are looking for a specific color or style and don’t see it here, let me know.
What if I want a specific color and I don't see it here?
I am always adding to the Closet. If you don’t see a color you are looking for, please contact me. I may not have it pictured just yet or I may be able to find it for you. Additionally, I can color change items in post-processing.
How do I know if a gown will fit me?
Before your portrait session, I love to meet with clients for a pre-consultation. You are welcome to look through the Closet and try on any gowns that catch your eye. Also, I typically purchase gowns in a large size and use clothing clips to form the gown to your individual body size.
Can I bring my own wardrobe or props?
Yes, you can definitely bring your own wardrobe and props. You absolutely do not have to use the Closet.
