No matter what you show up in, you’re going to look radiant and beautiful, whether you want to dress up or dress down. What Should I Wear?
It depends on your personal style. If a more feminine look suits you, try a gown with extra fabric and flow. For a more bold look, a form-fitting gown or fabric wrap in bright, solid colors may do the trick. You can even come in the classic “jeans and a T-shirt” look if that’s what makes you feel most comfortable. And if you want to capture the entire physical figure of motherhood, we can do a classy nude photoshoot. This is your time to express yourself and your unique style!
What Colors are Best?
Typically, solid colors are the best, because they’re less distracting and therefore put more focus on mom and the pregnancy. However, this is by no means a hard rule.
Should I Dress for the Season?
Since we only do shoots in our indoor studio, there’s no need to color-coordinate for the season. But we can always do a seasonally-themed shoot if that’s what you want!
What Shoes Should I Wear?
Usually moms are barefoot for their photoshoots, but if you want to you can always keep your shoes on. Try to choose something comfortable, as you may be on your feet for a while in certain poses.
What Should Guys Wear?
Dad’s style should stay relatively simple. Nice, darker wash jeans or khakis, and no patterns or anything that stands out too much, to keep the focus on the mother.
